Centres for Therapeutic Innovation
Pfizer has established a global network of research partners known as the Pfizer Centers for Therapeutic Innovation (CTI).
Launched in 2010 CTI aims to support the commercialisation of new medicine to develop effective treatments for challenging medical conditions that affect people around the world.
By bringing together leading academic medical centres and disease foundations, along with Pfizer scientists, it aims to increase the speed of translation of promising science into clinical candidates.
CTI is designed to bridge the gap between early scientific discovery and its translation into new medicines and offers a unique model for academic-industry collaboration.
It now has over 20 academic institutions in its network working across a variety of disease areas.
